Physical Description: Tall
frame. Slender in the lower half. Athletic. No remaining
projection.
Mechanics:
Over-the-top delivery, starting on the third
base side of the rubber. Low leg kick, gets good north south
extension, finishes in the direction of third base. Easy, fluid
mechanics.
Fastball: 86-88 mph cutter with heavy sinking
action.
Slider: 76-78 mph with sweeping movement. Leads
with it and utilizes it for about half of his pitch mix.

Curveball: 73-75 mph with glove side drop. Not
much difference in velo from his slider, uses the pitch about
20% of the time.
Career
Notes: MLB vet spent time in eight organizations before
signing with Boston. 2012 Rule 5 pick by Seattle.
Summation: Valuable Triple-A insurance.
Left-handed specailist capable of contributing to a major league
bullpen.
