Hit: Starts open with his hands high. Leg kick
timing device. Lacks bat speed. Short swing, looks to put the
ball in play. Rarely misses pitches in the zone. Solid approach.
Will take a walk and does not chase often. Swing lacks
loft.
Power: Below-average raw power.
Max exit velocity is passable, but struggles to consistently impact
the ball.
Run: Well below-average speed.
Lacks foot speed.
Field: Average
defensive profile. Hands work and has solid receiving skills.
Comfortable blocking balls in the dirt, but could stand to move
better laterally. Likes to use his glove to block balls to the
side rather than getting his body behind it. |

Arm: Above-average arm strength. Registers sub-1.9-second pop times. Threw out 31
percent of runners in 2025.
Career Notes: Signed with the
Rays out of Cuba for $150,000 very late in the 2019 IFA
class that extended all the way through 2020 due to the COVID-19
pandemic. Selected in the minor league phase of the 2025 Rule 5
draft.
Summation: Potential minor league
depth catcher. Makes contact and can control the running game,
but upside is limited by lack of impact.
