Physical Description: Tall, sturdy frame with
some room to add strength in his upper body.
Mechanics: Throws from a high-three-quarters arm slot
starting on the third base side of the rubber. Jerky delivery
with a lot of moving parts that he struggles to consistently
repeat. Pronounced arm swing behind. Medium leg kick. Very high
release. Stiff arm action coming forward. Short strider for his
height.
Fastball: 94-96 mph. Topped out
at 97 mph in spring training look in 2026, but topped out at
101.8 mph in college. High-spin pitch that is a potential
outlier fastball both in terms of velocity and shape. Pitch
plays up in the zone and averaged just under 23 inches of IVB.
Type of fastball shape that is very difficult to find and has
potential for premium bat-missing ability. Command and control
are major works in progress; struggles to throw strikes.
Slider: 88-91 mph. Short, tight rotation at its
best. Pitch showed bat-missing ability in college, but he
struggled to consistently land it in the zone.
Splitter: 84-86 mph. Work in progress. Late dive at its
best. Rarely used in college, but flashed bat-missing ability.
Showed intriguing shape during spring training 2026, looking
like a screwball at times with a very low spin rate. |

Career Notes: Attended
Nicholls State for two years, working as a starter, before
transferring to LSU for the 2025 season. Had his best
performance as a freshman, when he was named National Freshman
Pitcher of the Year by both Collegiate Baseball and the NCBWA.
Pitched out of the bullpen at LSU as they won the National
Championship. Participated in the MLB Draft League after the
2025 college season ended.
Summation:
High-variance arm with great size and extremely intriguing
fastball characteristics, but a very inconsistent track record
of throwing strikes. Fastball has the potential to be a premium
offering, but needs considerable work with his strike-throwing.
Both secondaries flash potential but are very inconsistent.
High-ceiling, low-floor profile, but at his best will show
late-inning stuff.
