  Scouting Report: Large, sturdy catcher's frame. Not incredibly athletic. Has shown an average bat in the past but his bat has been below average in recent years. Solid approach. Below-average power and speed. Calls a great game, prepares well. Good blocker. Well liked in the clubhouse. Backup catcher profile at this stage in his career, although offense has fallen off enough that he may be looked at more as an up-and-down player.
