Physical Description:
Powerful, athletic frame with no remaining
projection. Looks heavier than listed weight of 185 pounds. Thick lower half. Boom-or-bust skill set.
Hit:
Below-average hit tool; struggles to
make contact but hits the ball hard when contact is made.
Aggressive approach at the plate.
Power:
Above-average
power.
Run:
Moves well and is an average base
runner.
Field: Inconsistent defender
in the corner outfield, but has shown promise. Will make
spectacular plays but will struggle with routine ones.
Arm:
Has a very strong arm, but some of
its value is lost due to questionable decision-making.

Career Notes:
Signed as an
international free agent by the Dodgers in 2012. Traded to the Cardinals
organization in April 2018 for infielder Breyvic Valera.
Signed with Boston in February 2020. Did not play at the
Alternate Training Site in 2020.
Re-signed with the organization prior to becoming a minor league free
agent in 2020. Played for the Dominican Republic in the final 2021 Olympic
Qualifier and 2021 Olympics, winning a bronze medal. Re-signed
with the Red Sox as a minor league free agent in January 2022
and was used in a pure bench role in Triple-A over the course of
the season.
