Physical Description: Slightly
undersized. Minimal remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws from a three-quarters arm slot.
Starts on the third base side of the rubber. Rigid delivery with
effort. Plus extension and lower release height. Extremely high
leg kick, during which he tucks in behind his glove arm and
rotates his hips before he comes forward. Quick arm action.
Fastball: 92-94 mph. Tops out at 95 mph.
Pitch jumps on hitters and shows life when up. High-quality
fastball with premium bat-missing ability. Pitch has one of the
highest whiff rates for any fastball in the system. Command and
control are works in progress. Velocity could tick up in short
bursts. Potential above-average offering.
Slider:
81-85 mph. High spin rate. Tight, two-plane shape. At lower
velocities, has more sweepy shape. Advanced feel; has shown the
ability to land it in the zone or bury it down and out when
looking for a whiff. Potential above-average offering.
Curveball: 78-80 mph. Looked like a distinct
pitch from his slider during Spring Training 2025. Two-plane
break with more depth than the slider. Average potential.
Changeup: 81-83 mph. At its best, he throws
it with deceptive arm speed and late drop, with the pitch
falling off the table. Has flashed bat-missing ability, but is
inconsistent. Potential fringe-average offering.

Cutter: Did not use it in outing scouted in
2024, but has thrown about 10 percent of the time. Potential
fringe-average offering.
Career Notes:
Has battled injuries throughout his career. Was highly regarded
out of high school, ranked as high as the top 50 in the 2019
draft class at times, but opted to attend Auburn after an
injury-plagued senior spring caused his stock to fall. His
sophomore and junior college seasons both ended prematurely due
to injury, the latter resulting in Tommy John surgery. Did not
make his professional debut until August 2023 after rehabbing
from the procedure.
Summation: Potential
volatile middle reliever. Ceiling of a seventh-inning reliever.
Very intriguing arm who could move quickly if moved into a pure
relief role. Needs to tighten up his command and control, but
fastball/slider combination has premium bat-missing ability.
Fastball especially is extremely difficult to hit when he
elevates it. Has pitches to get both right- and left-handed
hitters out and the type of fastball teams look for. Is
currently being developed as a starter, but delivery, command
profile, and injury history point to him ending up in the
bullpen eventually.
