Career Notes: Had a standout
season in 2023 as Florida's closer, being named first team
All-SEC and then playing for Team USA in the summer. Pitched as
both a starter and reliever in 2024, beginning and ending the
season as the team's closer but working as the Friday night
starter in between. Was named to the Stillwater Regional
All-Tournament Team, helping lead Florida to the College World
Series. Began the 2025 season on the 60-day injured list with
forearm stiffness.
Summation: Likely will be
developed as a starter, but has a higher floor as a potential
bullpen arm. Intriguing fastball-slider combo could profile well
in a bullpen role. Development of changeup, curveball and
command will be keys to his chances to start. Checks a lot of
boxes the Red Sox look for, with a unique delivery with a low
release height and a fastball with solid traits and bat-missing
ability. Has also shown a curveball and cutter on occasion.

updated with a complete scouting report after the scouting team
has seen the player in person.
