  Scouting Report & Links      
         
  Physical Description: Strong medium frame. Minimal projection.

Mechanics: Throws from a three-quarters arm slot, starting on the third base side of the rubber. Exclusively from the stretch. Medium to high leg kick. Electric arm. Below average control and command.

Fastball: 96-99 mph four-seamer has hit 100 mph. Has some downward and armside movement. Plus pitch. Uses the pitch about half the time.  Also throws an 86-91 mph splitter, which he uses about 40% of the time.  Induces groundballs. Below to fringe-average pitch.

Slider: 85-87 mph show-me pitched used roughly 10% of the time. Fringe-average pitch. 12-to-6 movement.
  Career Notes: Has had a few major league opportunities with limited success. Traded by the Cubs to San Diego for Dauris Valdez in April 2021. Traded to Philadelphia for Kervin Pichardo and cash in March 2022. Acquired from the Phillies for cash after he was designated for assignment in June 2022.Cleared waivers later that month.

Summation: Emergency depth. Could blossom into major league material with improved control due to impressive fastball. Could stand to hone at least one secondary.
