  Scouting Report & Links

Physical Description: Thin frame with considerable remaining projection. Average height. Average athlete.

Hit: Starts open with his front foot inverted. Leg kick timing device. Clean load and smooth swing from the left side. Coils before firing with his hips. Solid separation in his swing. Average bat speed. Left-handed swing is ahead of his right-handed swing. Aggressive approach. Likes to attack early in the count and will expand the zone. Comfortable hitting fastballs, but has to improve against secondary offerings. Potential fringe-average hit tool.

Power: Average raw power. On the skinny side and produces average exit velocities for his age. Has natural loft in his swing and already shows some pull-side power. Fringe-average in-game power potential.

Run: Fringe-average speed. Not a major part of his game.

Field: Split time between second and third base in 2023, then played primarily third base in 2024, likely in part in deference to higher-priority prospects playing up the middle. Average defensive profile.
Arm: Average-to-better arm strength. Passable at all infield spots.

Career Notes: Showed well in the DSL in 2023 and looked like a potential low-level sleeper during 2024 Spring Training. Missed the three-and-a-half weeks early in the FCL season in 2024 for a non-injury issue and never really got back on track.

Summation: Lacks a carrying tool, but is a young prospect who shows averageish tools across the board. Variance in hit tool clouds future projection, but if he can take a step forward in 2025, could push the top 30 prospects in the system.

Note: This page will be updated with a complete scouting report after the scouting team has seen the player in regular season game action.
