Physical Description: Tall,
lanky pitcher's frame. No remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot,
almost sidearm, starting on the first base side of the rubber.
High leg kick. Effort in delivery. Does not use a wind-up. Stiff
delivery with an arm loop behind.
Fastball:
85-87 mph. Tops out at 89 mph. Pitch shows cut. Uses the pitch
off of his curveball. Also will show a high-80s four-seam
fastball on occasion. Average command and control profile.
Below-average offering.
Curveball: 70-72
mph. Loose, loopy breaking ball. Long, two-plane shape.
Potential fringe-average pitch.
Changeup:
79-81 mph. Clear third pitch. Does not throw often and lacks
feel for pitch.

Career
Notes: Pitched 5 seasons at Gonzaga before a marginally
successful stint in the Mariners system. Changed organizations
three times between December 2015 and July 2016, traded from
Seattle to the Dodgers for future considerations, traded from
the Dodgers to the Yankees with Ronald Torreyes for Rob Segedin,
then claimed off waivers by Kansas City and, subsequently,
Cleveland. Signed with the Cubs as a minor league free agent in
2020.
Summation: Organizational relief
arm. Deception in delivery and left-handedness give him a chance
to return to the Majors as a situational, up-and-down lefty, but
lack of stuff limits upside.
