Physical Description:
Large, filled-out frame.
Hit:
Fringe-average left-handed bat. Strikes out at a high rate, but
allso will take a walk. Showed the ability to control the zone
eary in his career but has regressed in recent years. Can be
overly agressive, could stand to be more selective and wait for
his pitch. Able to handle velocity but doesn't fare well against
off-speed stuff. Doesn't chase too many balls outside the zone.
Power: Plus in-game power. Takes
advantage of mistake pitches and hits the ball far. Posts big
home run numbers and impressive exit velocities.
Run:
Below-average runner.
Field: Fringe-average defender at first base and left
field. Below-average range, unreliable glove. Can play right field in a pinch, but lacks range.

Aveerage to a tick-above average arn.
Career Notes:
Drafted by the Phillies in 2010, opted to attend Georgia Tech.
Played with Wareham in the Cape League in 2011 and 2012.
Drafted by Arizona in 2013. Traded to Minnesota for Chris
Hermann in November 2015. Claimed off waivers by the White Sox
in November 2017. Finished fifth in AL Rookie of the Year voting
in 2018. Struggled in 2019 and 2020, went on to sign with
Samsung of the KBO. Spent time in the Nationals and Mets systems
in 2021 and 2022.
Summation:
Journeyman first-base outfielder. Has value due to MLB
experience, power, and versatility. Nice player to have at the
Triple-A level, has a chance to pop if he can refine his
approach.
