Physical Description: Medium
athletic frame. Has some room to add size but likely done
maturing physically.
Mechanics: Clean
3/4 delivery. Starts on the third base side of the rubber. High
leg kick. Good north-south extension. Works his lower half well.
Hides the ball until late. Stays balanced, keeps his eye on the
plate. Left leg extends up after follow through. Bulldog
mentality.
Fastball: 88-91 mph, uses the pitch about 60%
of the time. Fringe-average pitch. Has some sink to it. Able to
spot his fastball within the zone, but still gives up a lot of
walks.
Curveball: 70-75 mph. Swooping action on his
glove side. Best secondary pitch, grades as major league
average.
Changeup: 81-84 mph. Not great separation from
his fastball. Also has some sink. Fringe-average pitch.

Career
Notes: Starred for Bishop Hendricken (RI) in high
school. Initially committed to Miami and drafted by the Cubs in
2012, passed on both to attend JuCo for Southern Nevada. Then
committed to Arizona, but signed with Cleveland after being
drafted in the 9th round in 2013. Spent five season in Cleveland
system, traded to Toronto at the 2017 trade deadline.
Inconsistent in major league appearances with the Blue Jays in
2018 and 2019. Threw an immaculate inning on April 14, 2018.
Suspended 80 ganes for use of performance-ehnacing susbtances in
May 2018.
Summation: Triple-A depth. May look to
incorporate his curveball more and cut down on nibbling at the
zone. Emergency MLB relief potential
