  Scouting Report & Links      
         
  Physical Description: Medium frame, physically maxed out.

Mechanics: 3/4 delivery starting from the first base side. Low leg kick. Easy delivery, gets good extension. Well balanced.

Fastball: 89-92 mph two-seam sinker. Uses the pitch about 40% of f the time. Armside run. Mixes in a 90-93 mph four-seamer.

Slider: 79-82 mph with sweeping lateral movement.

Changeup: 82-85 mph circle change. Clear third pitch.
   Career Notes: Draft-and-follow in 2016. Came up through the Nationals system. Part of a trade for Gio Gonzalez in 2011. Has a lot of success with Houston, including as a starter during their 2017 championship run. was acquired in August 2021 for extra depth as the Red Sox dealt with a covid-19 outbreak. Did not perform well in short time with organization.

Summation: Bullpen arm with major league experience. Emergency up-and-down arm or Triple-A insurance.
