Physical Description: Athletic
frame Has developed physically since signing, but still needs to
add strength. Has some remaining projection in the upper half.
Hit: Starts open with a leg kick timing
device. Bat drags due to lack of strength. Hands need to get
quicker, needs to shorten swing. Swing is more fluid from the
left side, poor splits vs. lefties. Rough approach, has a long
way to go, especially against spin and changeups. Really
struggles to recognize off-speed pitches and is often caught out
in front. Attacks early in the count, doesn’t chase a ton
outside the zone. Able to keep up with high velocity.
Power: Lacks the ability to impact the baseball
right now. Has the frame that could grow into power as he
matures.Level swing, doesn’t get much loft resulting in a lot of
groundballs.
Run: Fringe-average to
average speed.

Field: Solid shortstop and second baseman. Good
instincts and smooth, fluid actions. Plus range. Fields the
position with some flair. Comfortable throwing from different
angles. Potential plus defender.
Arm:
Plus arm strength.
Career Notes:
Participated in the 2021 Fall Performance Program. Reportedly
impressed during extended spring training 2022, but suffered a
hand injury that caused him to miss roughly the first month of
the 2022 FCL season. Was set to participate in the 2022 Fall
Performance Program that was canceled due to Hurricane Ian.
Spent all of 2023 in Salem and nearly all of 2024 in Greenville.
Had a brief callup to Portland as a fill-in in 2024.
Summation: Organizational player. Defense-first
profile. Could carve out an extended career in the high minors
due to his defense.
