slot, starting on the first base side of the rubber. Some effort
in delivery. High leg kick. Short arm action behind and hides
the ball there. Quick forward. Solid extension.

mph. Command and control need work. Pitch jumps on hitters.
Velocity has ticked up since signing with Boston.
Slider: 83-87 mph. Primary secondary pitch.

competitively.

Career Notes: Drafted by
Oakland in the tenth round in 2021. Pitched in one game in the
Arizona Complex League that season, then missed most of 2022
with an injury. Struggled through control issues in Low-A in
2023. Released by Oakland in May 2024 after 4 games in High-A.
Signed with Boston in June 2024 and had a solid showing in the
FCL and with Salem. Pitched for Cangrejeros de Santurce in the
Puerto Rican Winter League during the 2024-25 off-season and
excelled as one of the best pitchers in the league.
Summation: Has an intriguing combination of
size and velocity. If he can find consistency with his arsenal
and improved command and control, could become a really
intriguing prospect, as stuff has never been an issue and even
seems to have taken a step forward in Spring Training 2025.
Slider flashes bat-missing ability and gives him a solid
two-pitch combination. Changeup is a work in progress. Needs to
find a third pitch to have a chance to stick as a starter. Has
stuff that could really play up in a bullpen role.

with a complete scouting report after the scouting team has seen
the player in regular season game action.
