Scouting Report:
Journeyman righty reliever with a large frame. Over-the-top delivery,
starts on the first base side of the rubber. Hides the ball well, short
arm action behind. Arsenal includes a 90-92 mph four seam fastball, a
high-80s cutter, and a high-70s curveball. Has shown flashes of success at
the MLB and AAA levels. Had Tommy John Surgery in March 2013. Has
primarily worked as a reliever since 2010, but not in a closing role. Able
to stretch out as a starter if needed. Better splits against righties.
