remaining projection.
Hit: Starts square
and in a slight crouch with his hands high. Leg kick timing
device. Solid bat speed. Shorter, compact swing path. Strong
contact ability. Rarely whiffs in-zone. Approach is still
developing. Elevated chase rate and is susceptible to breaking
pitches. Potential average hit tool.
Power:
Sneaky power for his size, but mainly gap-to-gap right now.
Produces solid-average exit velocities for his age. Can elevate
and has good batted ball angles. Potential fringe-average power
potential.
Run: Below-average speed. Not
a major part of his game.
Field: Capable
receiver and blocker. Soft hands, moves well behind the plate.
Potential average defensive profile. Has also played first base
a decent amount, but does not project nearly as well there. |

Consistently records pop times around 1.9 seconds. Above-average
arm strength.
Career Notes: Played in
the 2026 Spring Breakout game and started the 2026 Futures at
Fenway South game.
Summation: Potential
up-and-down depth catcher. Ceiling of a second division regular
who contributes on both sides of the ball. Intriguing skillset
for a catcher. Has upside at the plate if he can refine his
approach and continue on his current defensive trajectory.
