Scouting Report: Big athletic lefty with an arsenal of three pitches.  Coming out of high school, Rozier pitched in the low 90s.  Inexplicably, his fastball has  deteriorated over the years, topping out in the mid-to-high 80s in 2007 and 2008, and only hitting the low 80sh in 2009.    Curveball is smooth with good drop, and changeup is deceptive and controlled. A groundball pitcher. Has a good pick-off move. Rozier has struggled with composure and confidence issues throughout his career.  Also, he has struggled with his weight and conditioning.  Rozier was hit in the head by a batted ball on two occasions in late 2007, and that has seemingly had a lingering effect on his mound composure.  His agent is Scott Boras - Rozier turned down a football scholarship at North Carolina to pitch for the Red Sox.  Would have been picked in the first few rounds of the draft if not for rumors he would choose football.  At the time, he received one of the highest bonuses ever for a Red Sox draftee.
