Physical Description: Tall,
athletic frame with minimal remaining projection.
Hit: Short, direct swing. Has shown the ability
to hit velocity, but will always have swing-and-miss in his
game. Struggles with pitch recognition, especially against
breaking balls. Approach is a work in progress.
Power: Has flashed over-the-fence power in college, but
swing is more designed for hard contact in the gaps.
Run: Above-average speed. Able to steal a base
and take the extra base. Speed plays in the field as well.
Field: Average defensive profile. Likely
best suited for the corners, but should be passable in center
field as well.
Arm: Average arm
strength. |

Career Notes: Started his
college career at New Mexico, where he played both ways, but
transferred after his freshman year to Pima Community College.
Drafted by the Diamondbacks in the 33rd round of the 2019 draft.
Did not sign and went to TCU for the 2020 season. Developed into
one of the best players on the team in 2021 and was named First
Team All-Big 12.
Summation: Solid
organizational player profile. Solid in all aspects of the game,
but lacks a carrying tool.
Note: This page will be
updated with a complete scouting report after the scouting team
has seen the player in person.
