Scouting Report: Tall, lanky frame. High-waisted with minimal projection left. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot. Simple delivery with some effort. Works from the first base side. Short arm action with a slight hook behind. Works quickly. Fastball is 91-95 mph with sink and arm-side run. Easy velocity; live arm. 81-84 mph slider shows average potential. Pitch shows tight rotation and bite. 10-to-4 shape. Average potential offering. Mid-80s changeup is a work in progress. Below-average offering at present; doesn’t have great feel for the offering. On the firm side. Middle-relief profile. Moved to the bullpen full-time in August 2014 (after a short stint in Arizona in 2013 and the first six games in 2014) and responded well.
