Physical Description:
Large, powerful frame. No remaining projection.
Hit:
Fringe-average hit tool. Left-handed bat. Pull heavy uppercut
swing path. Average plate discipline, waits for his pitches.
Power: Carrying tool.
Plus-to-better power. 25-30 home run potential.
Run:
Below-average speed.
Field: Below-average fielder. Corner outfielder better
suited for left field.
Arm:
Below-average arm. |

Career Notes:
A masher at every level of his career. Late first round pick in
2015, still considered a well-regarded prospect through 2019.
Hasn't been able to hit enough since then to stick in the
majors. Signed with the Red Sox as a priority minor league
free agent in December 2021 with an invitation to spring
training. Missed stretches of two weeks and one week in August
2022, the latter after being hit by pitches twice in the
preceding game.
Summation:
Emergency up-and-down outfielder with major league power. Could
serve as a adequate fill-in in left field or designated hitter
durign an extended stretch. Possible 4th/5th outfielder and
pinch hitter in the right outfield/offensive alignment at the
MLB level.
