Scouting Report: Medium-framed outfielder. Lean and athletic. Starts from an open stance and utilizes a leg lift, closing down as the pitch approaches. Has a short swing and has shown an all-fields approach with a level swing path. Fringe-average plate discipline with a professional approach. Below-average to fringe-average hit tool. Below-average power, has shown limited gap power high levels of the minors. Average speed. Above-average arm. Capable of playing all three outfield positions at an above-average level, but best suited for right field. Good teammate. Gamer type with plus makeup. Played four years at Louisville before being drafted by Boston. Invited to major league spring training in 2019. Organizational outfielder who should stick around in the high minors as long as he wants to play.
