Scouting Report:
Left-hander with a highly projectable 6-foot-4 frame. Still has plenty of room to pack on
lean muscle mass. Mechanically, leverages his height to create
impressive down-mound extension. Arsenal includes a low-90s
heavy sinker that tops out at 95 mph, an 81-84 mph slider/cutter
hybrid with strong swing-and-miss capabilities, and an 86-88 mph
developing changeup. Overall command still requires refinement
to help minimize hard contact. Played two years at Lincoln Trail
College before transferring to Dallas Baptist, and
had committed to transfer to Virginia Tech before being drafted.
