Physical Description:
Large pitcher's frame. Looks listed height and weight. Imposing
figure on mound. Will need to watch his conditioning. No
remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws
from a low three-quarters arm slot. Starts on the first base
side of the rubber and does not use a wind-up. Drop-and-drive
motion. Low release height. Effort in delivery. Shorter arm
action, hides the ball well. Quick, live arm. Elite extension.
Fastball: 92-94 mph. Tops out at 96 mph.
Pitch shows late movement and has above-average induced vertical
break (IVB). Will show bat-missing ability. Erratic command and
control. Potential above-average offering.
Slider: 83-85 mph. Will vary velocity and shape
deliberately at times. Typically has 10-to-4 shape, but at other
times can be either more vertical with depth or shorter and more
cutter-like. Potential fringe-average offering.
Sweeper: 78-80 mph. Looked like a separate pitch during
spring training 2025 after previously blending in with the true
slider. Long, horizontal, frisbee-like shape. Potential
fringe-average offering. |

Changeup: 88-90 mph. On the firm side and lacks
feel. Shows late sink. Did not throw during 2025 spring
training. Well below-average potential.
Career
Notes: Was committed to Toledo out of high school, but
did not qualify academically. Instead spent two years at
Sinclair Community College prior to transferring to Miami of
Ohio. Named a Northwoods League All-Star in 2021 after throwing
12 2/3 innings, allowing only four hits while striking out 29.
Participated in the Fall Performance Program in 2021. Received
an invitation to major league spring training in 2025.
Summation: Potential organizational reliever.
Ceiling of an emergency depth, up-and-down reliever. Large frame
with a unique delivery makes for an uncomfortable at-bat for
hitters. Has several traits organizations look for in a pitcher,
including a low release point and high IVB on his fastball.
Fastball/slider combination is interesting, but needs to get
more consistent in all areas.
