Physical Description:
Filled-out, mature frame. Sturdy lower half. No remaining
projection
Mechanics: Throws from a
three-quarters arm slot. Starts on the first base side.
Considerable effort in delivery. Short arm action. Hides the
ball well. Plus extension at around 7 feet.
Fastball: 90-94 mph. Tops out at 95 mph. Pitch plays up
in the zone and has shown bat-missing ability. Good life and
above-average induced vertical break. Command and control are
works in progress. Possesses the traits teams look for in a
fastball. Potential average-to-better offering.
Cutter: 86-89 mph. Short, horizontal shape. Does not
throw frequently.
Slider: 80-84 mph.
Primary pitch; throws it more than his fastball. Shape will vary
at times, with some sweepier and others flashing more depth.
Potential average offering. |

Changeup: 84-85 mph. Throws sparingly.
Below-average offering.
Career Notes:
Started his career at Wabash Valley Community College, where he
spent two years before transferring to South Carolina, where he
again spent two seasons before transferring to Western Kentucky
as a graduate student. Was traded to the Tigers in July 2024 for
RHP Trey Wingenter.
Summation: Pure
relief prospect with intriguing fastball characteristics. Showed
strike-throwing and bat-missing ability in college, but
strike-throwing has been inconsistent in pro ball. Needs to find
more consistency with his secondary offerings to reach his
potential.
Note: This page will be
updated with a complete scouting report after the scouting team
has seen the player in person.
