Scouting Report: Athletic right-hander with a tall, projectable frame. Very raw, lacks baseball experience. High three-quarters to over-the-top arm slot. Pronates wrist behind his body. Short-arms the ball, body not in sync with arm. Average arm speed. Fastball sits in the high-80s. Pitch shows natural cut. Also shows two-seam fastball with arm-side run in the mid-80s. Potential to add velocity as he focuses more on pitching and matures physically. Changeup and curveball both need work. Tendency to slow arm on changeup in the high-70s. Curveball at 71-73 mph shows long, 12-to-6 break, but is on the slow, loopy side. Flashes fringe-average potential. Will need significant development time in the minors. Was a three-sport star in high school and was slated to play wide receiver at Nichols State before signing.
