Scouting Report
: Nice looking swing with solid mechanics. Yockey generates some good lift with his swing. He is smooth to the ball and finishes up with two hands on the bat, following through around his back rather than up high like a lot of guys do.  Lot of torque in his lower body. The ball comes off his bat pretty well and there is a a lot of power potential there. He can occasionally struggle with maintaining balance  throughout his swing plane.  Strikes out too much.  Good defensive outfielder.  Has struggled taking to the Sox batting approach.
