Physical Description: Average
height, medium build. Minimal remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws from a high-three-quarters
arm slot. Starts on the first base side of the rubber. Medium
leg kick. Controlled, repeatable delivery. Drop and drive
delivery. Arm action works. Comes across his body after
releasing the ball. Average release height and extension.
Fastball: 91-93 mph. Tops out at 95 mph.
Above-average control, but generic traits. Averages just under
16 inches of IVB. Struggles to consistently miss bats. Had
flatter plane on his fastball as an amateur and looks like a
candidate to have the pitch revamped entirely.
Cutter: 88-91 mph. Advanced feel. High spin rate.
Short, horizontal break. Grades out well in models. Shows
bat-missing ability and is effective at eliciting chase.
Sweeper: 83-87 mph. Primary offering in 2025.
High spin rate with long, horizontal shape. Plus control, able
to land in the zone when he wants. Does not consistently miss
bats, but is effective at generating weak contact and getting
chases.
Curveball: 79-82 mph. Very
high-spin offering with an average spin rate just under 2900
rpm. Vertical shape with solid depth. Able to land pitch in the
zone consistently, but has just a fringe-average whiff rate.

Changeup: 86-88 mph. Used sparingly in 2025.
Very low spin rate. More fade than depth. Very inconsistent.
Will occasionally pull the string on it, but struggles to land
competitively.
Career Notes:
Spent three years at the University of Miami working as a
starter. Was drafted by the Yankees in the fourth round of the
2024 draft and signed for a slightly-over-slot $637,000. Was
traded to the White Sox in July 2025 for Austin Slater.
Summation: Potential up-and-down swingman type.
Advanced pitchability of a wide-ranging arsenal. Fastball needs
to improve for him to have a chance to start. Relied on his
sweeper and cutter in 2025, but is a good candidate to see his
arsenal revamped now that he is with the Red Sox.
