Physical Description:
Medium, athletic frame. Has room to add strength but unikely
to happen given his age.
Hit:
Below-average hit tool. Quick wrists, solid discipline. Works the
count. Makes inconsistent contact; misses a lot of pitches in
the zone but does not chase. Long swing. High strikeout rates.
Struggles against high velocity. Subpar splits against
left-handed pitching.
Power: Once demonstrated
solid-average raw power. Still hits the ball hard, but mostly to
the gaps. Does not get a lot of loft on the ball.
Run:
Fringe-average runner. Will steal some bases thanks to
baserunning instincts.
Field: Solid-average defender in center field, also able
to play the corners. Plus range, reliable glove, makes decent
reads.

Above-average arm.
Career Notes:
Older brother Kyle pitched in MLB for the Royals. Played for Cotuit in the
Cape League in 2013. Former first-round pick and top 20 MLB
prospect. Missed the 2015 Arizona Fall League with a hairline
fracture in his foot. Missed significant time in 2018-19 with a
shoulder injury. Has had limited MLB success.
Summation:
Veteran Triple-A emergency depth. Decent short-term call-up option
due to his defense, experience, and high baseball IQ.
