Player Pool Explanation: MLB teams are required
to submit a list of up to 60 players eligible to play in
2020. The players not on the Red Sox Active Roster
will practice at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. To help ease into competition, each club
will have a 30-man active roster until August 6,
and then a 28-man active roster for the
remainder of the season. Each team will be
permitted to bring a five-player Taxi Squad from the Player Pool
for every road trip in addition
to the Active Roster; one of the three players on
the Taxi Squad must be a catcher. |
